St. Maria Magdalena
Next to the parish church there is a hand-hewn chapel of St. Marija Magdalena.
There is also an underground church from the 3rd and 4th century, built in a half circle shape with an altar and a hewn-out seat. On this location a chapel was later built above the ground.
The adjacent rooms are provided with a hand-hewn hypogeum and a cluster of smaller hypogea.
In the 20th century the area had been adapted.
On the location where they think that, according to the legend, Apostle St. Paul preached his words and were miraculously heard in Gozo, there is now a life-size statue of St. Paul. The statue was made by Guzmana Navarra in 1679. On this location Pope John Paul II greeted the people of Rabat.
