You can find the catamaran Saint John Paul II here. It is the biggest vessel of this kind which sails in the Mediterranean Sea and the second biggest in the world.

Transporting 400 trucks or 167 cars (4,5 x 2,5m), 1120 passengers and 24 crew members, this 110,6 m (360 ft) long and 28,2 m (92 ft) wide catamaran sails on the water with a cruising speed of 70 km/h on the water.

There is a choice of travelling club class, which is on the top deck, or euro class, which is on the main deck. There are 1.134 chairs of which 138 are outside on two passengers decks.

On board are several shops, a lounge, bars and a gaming lounge. There is also a lounge for truck drivers and a VIP lounge.

The catamaran was built by Incat in Hobart, Australia in 2017 – 2018 and is owned by Maltese Virtu Ferries.
