Mistra Valley
Mistra Valley is a beautiful area for hiking. Part of the Valley is a Natura 2000 area.
In the Valley you can, depending on the season, encounter trees and plants such as Periploca, Cistus, Romulea, Iris, red carpets, Asphodelus aestivus,
Anacamptis, Ophrys fusca, Ophrys bombyliflora.
Aromatic plants such as mint, fennel, etc. and the medicinal Borago officinalis and the honeywort - Cerinthe majus are also available. The fauna you can find are the camouflaged chameleon, butterflies, lizards, etc. here.
