Għadira Bay - Mellieha Bay
Għadira Bay is also called Mellieha Bay. This bay has 800 meters of sandy beach and is therefore the longest beach in Malta. The beach is located on the outskirts of the town of Mellieħa and is also known as Għadira. This beach got the Blue Flag status, which means that there is, among other things, good water quality, safety, environmental management, etc. The crystal-clear water often looks green due to the sandy seabed.The seabed is slowly sloping and is ideal for recreation. Chairs and umbrellas can be rented, or you can bring your own. It is possible to order food and drinks both in summer and in winter.
