Esplora Interactive Science Centre
Esplora is a centre to stimulate scientific curiosity. The halls and gardens house more than 200 exhibitions.
There are hands-on workshops, scientific shows and temporary events and /or exhibitions.
There are many interactive actions to perform, which makes it clear how something works. It is educational but also fun for the young ones and elderly. Exploring, crafts, trying out, playing with colours, light, water, balance, sound , music, etc, etc, is all possible.
There is also a Planetarium where you can attend a visualisation of astronomy as well as an exhibition about the universe.
It was opened in 2016 following a request by the Maltese population using a signature campaign.
The centre is housed in Villa Bighi and its history dates back to 1657. There is a special page about Villa Bighi.
