In 1743 Fr. Francesco Rosignoli ordered the building of Palazzo Manresa. The purpose was to organize spiritual excercises on the sociƫty of Jesus, St. Ignazius. The first rector was Rosignoli.

In 1977 the Archbishop made use of the building.
The main entrance has, among other items, a picture of the Madonna and Child which is decorated with garlands on the frames.
In the building there is also a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Manresa, designed by the famous Italian architect Carapecchia.
Reftectory is decorated all over with colourful wall paintings of Leonetti, ordered by Fr. Calvi.
